Light-weight Reliable Multicast

lrm is a library that implements reliable and ordonnated multicast transfers for use in cooperative work applications. It was developed with Yoann Janvier and Frédéric Hémar during the end of second year project at Enseirb and directed by Christian Toinard.

This library uses positive acquitements from all the participants of a session and thus is well suited for sessions with a limited number of participants. (see also srm which we wanted to use but did not work for our needs at that time).

The version available here is the one realized for the project, with some improvements to be easily reused. (in particular, it makes use of autoconf and libtool).

Tested on Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, and Irix.

Current version: lrm-1.0.1.tar.gz.
